A Staple
They recently changed the formula, and it is functionally fine. I miss the powdery scent from before. It was unique and a little nostalgic. This one is fine. The colors Like and Fuzz will be standbys for me for the foreseeable future. I have tried many of the other colors and these are the two that work for me. Easy to layer under balm. com or even Ultralip (which I don't like as much as Generation G, oddly). But the shade Like, on its own, is a perfect staple for even the most bare-faced days.

Drys out lips
Nice color, however it severely dried out my lips. The lipstick also molded with a green hue after a few months keeping it closed in a dry dark makeup bag along with all my other makeup. I’ve never had a lipstick mold before so maybe it’s made of clean products and went bad earlier than the drug store lipsticks I’ve had for longer!

Not the same formula
Liked my older Cake Generation G. This new one has a different texture (thicker) and feels/looks a bit frosty. Will not be reordering.

Horrible Formula change
The smell and texture have changed for the worst. Horrible crayon smell and texture is so gritty (it drags and scratches the lips). The colour doesn’t apply evenly too.
Please Please bring back the previous formula with rose scent that feels better in the lips. I am not going to accept this formula and you are losing a loyal customer. :rage:

scent is absolutely horrid now
this is my favourite lipstick of all time but the smell of the newest one i just bought is nasty. it smells like stale crackers. the old scent was amazing and now it’s so gross. i get fragrance free but sometimes fragrance is necessary to cover the nasty smell of ingredients

Received the replacement lipstick today.
Received the replacement lipstick today. Didn't put it on cause I'd just apply self tanner, but I smelled it and it doesn't smell like the other one, it's smells fine. Thank you all so much! Looking forward to me next order which I plan to do soon. Need to order more concealer and I'm going to try the eyebrow brush thing. I don't have eyebrows and draw them on everyday and am looking forward to trying something that maybe works better or in addition to.

my first glossier
It was my first glossier and it was so good. I use it all day! It is so smooth and the spread ability was nice. Also color of lipstick was so pretty. I would like to visit glossier if I visit America again. It was the best lipstick I ever used!

Feels like chalk
I’ve been a fan of the generation G lipstick, I’ve been using it every single day, so when I ran out I repurchased the product however upon using it i noticed the change in formula. The lipstick feels like I’m applying chalk to my lips, and the smell makes me nauseous, I’ve also noticed some flakiness from the product. Safe to say that I won’t be buying it again!
