Directions
Use La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel every morning and/or evening. Wet your hands, then take a small amount of gel and work up a lather. Apply to the face, massaging gently. Rinse well with water.

Skin burn on and dry patches
I am a big fan of la roche-posay and have used other face cleansers prior to this one. Sadly, this product does not agree with my skin at all and have been left with severe dry patches all over my face and a skin abrasion on my chin. I ordered this product to help with blemishes and if anything my face has become more spotty by the skin barrier becoming effected. Disappointing, as I ordered the big bottle which I cannot use now. I can’t fault any of the other products and in particular, the cleanser and serum to help with hyperpigmentation was brilliant. Wish I’d stuck to that one

Well that went left
Using their face app this was recommended and was immediately purchased by me
But since then things have taken the worse possible path as my face has more acne and they leave scars and it’s a lot dryer
I’m sorry but I wouldn’t recommend using it

Gentle and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gel is incredible. I received a sample with another purchase and noticed that some stubborn whiteheads had almost disappeared. It was also gentle on my skin and did not dry it out.

Love La Roche-Posay but do not love this face wash
I use the toner, serum and zinc spray by La Roche-Posay so assumed I would love the face wash. Unfortunately, my skin is more blemish to since starting to use it and I really don’t like the texture find it very hard to wash off and it often leaves a residue on my skin.
