The multi-active formula contains 8 key technologies:

I’ve been using it at night, before retinol, they mix well. My skin did not feel as dry as before, but i do prefer a more hydrating cream to use.

I Fell in Love Despite the Chemical Stink
When I first ordered this serum from The Ordinary, it was a total impulse buy. The pink color? Instant wow. A new launch? I’m in. Promises of smoother skin? Say no more. But then came the first sniff and… oh no. Honestly? It smells like someone wrapped a rubber glove in a chemistry set. Super synthetic and not pleasant at all.
Still, I decided to give it a fair shot. And thank god I did. After finishing the first bottle, I was honestly blown away. My skin had never felt this smooth like, baby-smooth, airbrushed-in-real-life kind of smooth. The scent still doesn’t exactly spark joy, but the results totally make up for it. And to be fair, the smell fades pretty quickly once it’s on your skin.
Now I’m already on my second bottle and I can confidently say: this is one of the best products I’ve ever used. If you can get past the initial sniff, you might just fall in love with it too.

Reduces Irritation Over Time
It has a nice smell of citrus. Liquidy and easy to spread. Feels like a thin layer of oil on skin.
It doesn't instantly relieve redness and irritation like it states, it may take a day or two at least. But over time it makes my skin stronger and more tolerant to retinoid use, less prone to irritation .

Burning Sensation
I tried this for the first time, applying the serum after applying the HA serum and it immediately felt like my skin was burning and seemed more red than when I put it on. I’m sure it works for others but sadly this product wasn’t for me. :(

Amazing product/scar help
I bought this product and after a neck surgery started using it over a large scar while going over gave etc. it made that scar almost non existent. Way better than any scar product I had ever used. I even told my surgeon about it at follow up.

caused me tooo much ACNE
2 months ago i have bought this seum and since that i have noticed a huuuuuuge ACNE atack to my face; and whene i research i found that the cause of acne is the vitamine B12 that it contain wich it cause several ACNE pobleme

Meh
I got this to help my skin barrier but it didn't really do anything. I broke out and the consistency is weird. it kept rubbing off on my skin so definitely can't be put under make up.
