Product Description

Surface hydration formula, Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) are elements that keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well-hydrated. NMF are made up of multiple amino acids, fatty acids, triglycerides, urea, ceramides, phospholipids, glycerin, saccharides, sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid and many other compounds that are naturally present in the skin.

This formula offers non-greasy hydration that acts as a direct topical supplement of impaired NMF components. It contains 11 amino acids, phospholipids, alpha/beta/gamma fatty acids, triglycerides, sterols and sterol esters, glycerin, ceramide precursors, urea, saccharides, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid. It offers immediate hydration and lasting results with continued use.

Alcohol-free, oil-free, nut-free, vegan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, creamy, perfect! This moisturizer is nice for my oily face! It's smooth and not smothering. It's creamy but not sticky. I've noticed my face creates a little less oil that normal which is great for me and my acne!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to apply I really liked this at first, but it feels like the formula was changed? I bought another tube and it feels thicker and does not absorp into the skin. Thought maybe it was just a bad one so I tried it again, and same. It's like pushing zinc ointment around on my skin snd doesn't melt or sink in at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So moisturizing My skin is normally dry, and highly allergic to a lot of ingredients...ironically, mostly natural ones. I'm allergic to beeswax, jojoba, and shea to name a few, and so I've been just using single ingredient facial products. I thought I'd take a chance with the ordinary since they don't add fragrances or other allergens I'm normally adverse too. WOW. My face has never glowed this much. I've been using this after washing with the Squalene cleanser, and then an application of Marine Hyaluronic, Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, and Argan oil, and this really just seals in the moisture and gives my face a beautiful, dewy glow. What a difference from dry skin. After years of avoiding beauty products and just using Argan Oil and petroleum jelly (yuck), I'm so glad I've finally found products that don't give me rashes or breakouts, and instead make my skin look beautiful. Thank you the Ordinary!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it I bought this and I like it. Not to heavy. I use it about 3 times a week

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Drying on my Combination Skin I bought and received this product about two weeks ago and it leaves my skin dry. I have combination skin so for this to me making my face this much drier really surprises me. I took their online quiz and this is what they had listed as the recommended moisturizer. I hate wasting products and usually use them to completion but this stuff just feels bad for my skin.

Hi, I would like to ask how often should use this cream? What order should I follow to use it with Lactic acid 10%, Niacinamine 10%+ Zn, Retinoid 2% and AHA 30% +BHA 2% peeling? Thanks.

Asked by: Marta
Hi, It's recommended to apply The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA after serums, it is for effective surface hydration, which is the last skincare step. For advice of when to use it around the other products you are using within your routine, please contact us on Beautyexperts@feelunique.com Thanks, Lydia - Beauty Expert
