Rated 1 out of 5 by from Red puffy circles around the eyes I was very good with this product for a long time, since februari i suddenly got big red circles around my eyes wich are very burning. Peiple miterally asked me if a was on drugs… When the redness disappears, it leaves this cracked skin behind for over a week. I tought it was just a bad production batch so i bought a new one. Straight aday the same reaction. It is a shame that this product isn’t reviewed by the factory as there are so many people here with the same symptoms.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not use Also having an extreme reaction to this. It has taken me MONTHS to figure out the cause of recurrent eye reactions. Didn't suspect this as I put it nowhere near my eyes - I use it on my chin and nose if I break out, never on the whole face. It's been genuinely traumatic waking up randomly unable to open my eyes and has caused time off work and a real lack of confidence. The dry flaky skin lasts weeks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chemical burn I have been using this product consistently for over three years without any issues. However, after a recent application — even in a smaller amount than usual — I woke up to find my face severely swollen and red. The reaction resembled a mix between an allergic response and a chemical burn. My skin has been in recovery for over a week; while some improvement is noticeable, certain areas remain highly irritated, red, and itchy. Notably, I did not apply the serum near my eyes, yet my eyelids became extremely swollen to the point where my vision was affected, and bruising (similar to black eyes) subsequently appeared. For anyone experiencing similar reactions, I recommend treating the affected areas with Hydrocortisone ointment, Cicaplast Baume B5+ by La Roche-Posay, and a fragrance-free baby oil — this care routine has been very helpful in soothing my skin. Needless to say, I will not be using the Salicylic Acid 2% serum again; the bottle went straight into the trash.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Something must be wrong with this product? Somethings feels dangerous and off nowadays with this product? Our teenage daughter have been Using this without any problems before for about 3 years now. This recently Bottle though for about 2 months ago Caused her swollen puffy eyelids, uneven eyes, red halo rings around Both eyes( like droopy eyes) a couple of weeks after she vegan getting dry itchy spots around the mouth area. Allergic exzemas both around eyes as mouth. She have been skipping School domedays besvarar of it. We didnt know it was ordinary at all because of her previous good experience around this serum. 2 months after all of this i finally found this page and all the rewievs and pictures that is similiar and quite exacly what our daughter have been experiencing. She stopped using ordinary washer and this one since yesterday and such a big difference already. Eucerin anti redness moisterizer helped a lot!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chemical Burn My skin is usually in very good condition. I ran out of another brand's salicylic acid serum, and thought of trying the Ordinary one. Please do not repeat this mistake!!! My skin suffered a painful chemical burn which lasted days! My entire face became red and the area around my eyes started peeling. My skin has never reacted to anything else like that, and I had to go to the doctor's to help me fix it. For reference, the pictures I am uploading are 3 days post burn; it used to be much worse.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too strong I was expecting good things but it has made my skin itchy and red patches like other people's photos. I use your other products but this is stronger than I thought.
