The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque 50ml
Product Description
This water-free solution contains 1% Retinol, a well-studied ingredient that aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and textural irregularities. While Retinol has been studied extensively, it can be irritating to the skin for first-time users and requires a build up of skin tolerance. For this reason, we generally recommend using Granactive Retinoid 2% or Granactive Retinoid 5% for first-time users. This formula also offers hydrating benefits due to the presence of Squalane.

Directions
- Apply a few drops to the face in the evening.
- Do not use with other retinoid products. Use sun protection during the day.
Caution: Retinol can cause irritation, redness, and peeling, especially around the eyes and mouth, in the early stages of use while skin builds tolerance.
Refrigerate after opening.
If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician.
Use only as directed on unbroken skin.
Patch testing prior to use is advised.
Keep out of reach of children.
Note: When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is recommended to avoid any skincare products containing retinoids such as formulations with Granactive Retinoid or Retinol.
Caution:
- Retinoids can make the skin more sensitive to UV radiation.
- Sun protection is particularly important when using retinoids.
- This product must not be used in conjunction with other retinoids including retinol or retinoic acid.
- This product is not a treatment for acne.
- Acne-prone skin may experience a temporary increase in acne during the first few weeks of using any form of retinoid, including those used in this formulation.
We do not recommend combining this product in the same regimen with other Retinoids, Direct Acids, Direct or Ethylated Vitamin C (LAA/ELAA), or "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1%.

Effective, good quality product

Weird texture
The texture is lumpy and has been ever since I got it. It's also really hard to get out of the tube. I've used it quite a few times and fairly consistently. Maybe it works, I can't really tell.

Impressed!
First time using this brand and this product, and wow! I have always struggled with pore build up and black heads and just ten minutes and I can see a noticeable difference. I was just about to pay too much money to get a facial! Great product will keep using.

Pass for dry sensitive skin
This might be good for someone who really has congested skin, for my some what hormonal acne and dullness (at the time in 2020) this stripped my skin, wrecked my skin barrier and caused dry patches then zits. My skin was ANGRY. I learned to avoid these types of products. So might b user error but if you have dry sensitive skin-pass on this

My absolute go-to
I have tried many, MANY skincare products and hacks. I have a microcurrent device, an LED red light mask, serums, moisturisers and overnight masks, but this is still my absolute go-to when my skin looks tired and dull. This has probably been the longest-running staple of my skincare routine; the price point is great, and my skin feels so soft, smooth, and bright after I use this. Whenever I have an event to go to or I feel like my skin needs an extra bit of oomph, I reach for this.

I use this in place of an exfoliant 1-2 times a week. It's very effective and gives me really smooth skin, but it does leave a bit of.a burning sensation/redness after I use it even though I wash it off within 2-3 minutes. Goes away overnight but something to keep in mind if you have sensitive skin.

Best pore size reduction than any other products .
I absolutely love this mask! I have large pores on my nose that no matter what I do have a constant buildup, this is the only product that has ever helped. This product has shrunk my pores more than any other products, no matter how expensive. I use this mask 2-3 times a week on my nose. I put it on a little thick, not too thick, but enough to peel it off after about 10 minutes drying time. I feel much more confident with the way it has helped my large pores become 1/3-1/4 of the size.
